A Beginner’s Guide to Grants Management and FTA Requirements

This course provides an education on what it means to be an FTA grantee. Topics include an overview of transit funding opportunities, eligible activities, grants management requirements under the Uniform Guidance, and specific requirements for FTA funding recipients.

Understanding Transit Formula Funding

This course demystifies Federal transit formula apportionments by explaining the statutory formulas, data, and concepts used in allocation. It also provides recipients with tools to confirm their allocations are correct, predict future funding and ensure they are receiving every dollar they are entitled to.

National Transit Database Reporting

This Overview course will provide a background on why NTD reporting is required, and how NTD reporting impacts future Federal funding. The course will also cover the basic reporting requirements for each of the major categories of data in the annual report - as well as how to properly complete the Federal funding allocation form.

TrAMS Training

Take the stress out or applying for and managing FTA funds by becoming an expert in the Transit Award Management System (TrAMS). Courses include end-to-end training, targeted training on portions of TrAMS most relevant to you, and in person trainings at locations across the country.

Civil Rights Compliance

This course offers a practical guide to understanding and maintaining federal civil rights compliance in an era of regulatory change. Topics include core civil rights requirements, recording keeping and reporting, and strategies for navigating a changing landscape.
